Description:

I have several postcards that I can't believe are actually postcards and I'm sure other people do too. I think it's hilarious and I thought it would be fun to share our ridiculous postcards with one another!

For this swap, you will send your partner one store-bought postcard that makes you think "Who would want that?!" Write a brief message about why you chose the postcard, your Halloween plans, a new recipe you tried, or anything else and mail it.

The nitty gritty:

  • No handmade postcards, store-bought only.

  • If nudity/vulgarity are not preferred, please make your preference known in the comments below. If you plan to send a postcard with nudity/vulgarity, please double-check the comments on this page first. Otherwise, anything goes!

  • The postcard is sender's choice (with the possible exception of nudity/vulgarity as described in the previous point). Please rate your partner a 5 if you receive a store-bought postcard with a message that was sent on time. If you love it, feel free to give them a heart as well!

  • Make sure you include the name of the swap and your swap name somewhere on the postcard so that your partner can easily rate you.

  • Everyone is welcome, but I reserve the right to remove you from the swap if I do not feel you will deliver. Newbies and the unrated, please take the time to really fill out your profile. Look at other profiles for examples if you're not sure what to write about. The more people know about you and your likes, the easier it is for them to make what they're sending extra special for you! (This doesn't really apply to this swap since it is sender's choice, but it is a helpful hint for swap-bot in general).

This is meant to be a silly and fun swap designed to bring you a bit of surprised laughter. Have fun with it!

This is my first time as swap coordinator, so I hope you enjoy!

Maybe you could resolve the swaps you flaked on before joining new swaps and hosting your own swaps?

Thank you for your opinion I suppose. As mentioned on my profile, I reached out to all of my previous partners in attempts to right my mistakes. Only one responded and I had a lot of fun putting together a nice package of "profile favorites" as she put it. She changed her 1 to a 5. I can't help that the other 3 either won't respond or haven't been on in over a year. I can't send their items without their addresses. You may notice that I've been in numerous swaps since coming back in September and have since then received 34 5-star ratings. No one is forcing you to join my swap and I hope that the people who do join will enjoy it.
