Description:

This swap is for those who like to paint!

Rules are:

  1. It must be hand painted. You can paint it on paper and glue the painting onto the card stock if you like, or you can paint directly on the card stock. You can use borders and minimal embellishments but try to stick to this being as much just pure paint as possible.

  2. It must have some sort of connection to a peacock. It doesn't have to be the whole bird. It can be one feather, the head, the tail etc. Just make it so the viewer recognizes that it has to do with a peacock.

  3. It does not have to be a realistic style of painting... It can be abstract, splatter paint. water colours, etc. Nor does it have to follow traditional colours. If you can pull off a pink peacock and make it look good then go right ahead. We are artists, so let's get artsy! (This senders choice).

  4. You will have 1 partner and you will do one card for your partner. The card should be blank inside so that they can use it to send to someone if they want. It should also have a blank envelope to go with it. This is international so keep that in mind if you are going to join up.

I am going to give a few weeks to do this because we all know that painting can take some time sometimes.

Please rate a 5 if the rules are followed and you received it on time. Remember that not all art styles are liked by all and that not everyone is a professional painter. So even if it is not your style or cup of tea, please rate fairly.

Everyone is invited to join (yes, newbies too!) and I can angel this if need be.

I will be hosting a similar swap for a painted ATC as well, for those who wish to paint something a little smaller.

Hope you have fun!
