This is a nice simple embroidery swap for us redwork lovers! You will stitch 2 redwork 'penny squares' approx 6"x6" in size and send them to your partner. Nothing fancy, just a nice simple swap in the post-holiday season. Plenty of time to sign up and send out, no stress! Whats a penny square? "In America, dry goods stores sold 6 inch muslin squares marked with a variety of designs for a penny each. These "penny squares" are often seen incorporated into old Redwork bedspreads and linens. The patterns are usually simple line drawings." No newbies, no no-sends, no ratings below 4.7. Embroider on muslin, calico, white cotton, anything within that definition. | |
