Hi swappers! Let's swap composition book journals! Here's what to do:
To clarify, the 'something' you do to every 3rd page doesn't need to be an entire page spread but it does need to be more than just a rubber-stamped image. This is not the time to think, "less is more" Some ideas; washi tape patterns, die cuts, decoupaged napkins, foldover page toward center and insert a tag, a decorated pocket, some journal tags attached with a paper clip, sewn lace, painted flowers (or anything else), doodles, drawn images, etc. You get the idea. A pet peeve of mine is to receive a 'journal' where every single inch is decorated . . . no real room to journal. So we're going with every 3rd page, leaving lots of room to journal. That said, you may certainly do something simple and small to all the 'in-between' pages if you choose (a rubber stamped image, a lovely sticker, etc.), but you're only required to complete 25 of the pages. The only things you must avoid are gory themes and religious or political themes. Use whatever colors/themes inspire you. Questions? Please pop me a pm or leave questions below--your question might be the same one confusing other swappers. Hope you'll join me in creating a journal with journaling space! |
