Description:
There has been several Flat Goodies package swaps going around and I have enjoyed them. For this swap, you will have one partner. You will put together one 6X9"or 16x24 cm envelope, stuffed to about 3/4" or 2cm thick. Here is one that deals with art and artist. YOu pick either your favorite type of art or favorite artist pack a 6x9 or 16x24cm envelope with items that pertain to the art or artist you chose. For example if I liked retro art, such as pop art. I would cruise the net looking for examples, look through my old art books or magazines, snatch peices of my scrapbook paper that reminds me of pop art or even some of my scrapbook embellishments. Maybe even make a couple little peices of art myself in Pop Art Style. The same with if I chose an artist, like Van Gogh. With all these goodies write you 1 partner a little note explaining why you chose the art or artist that you did.

This looks like fun! Not the usual swap in which I participate so this will be different for me. I'll be in NYC from 4/22-4/28 and am so focused on having my swaps out the door before I leave I'm not even thinking that I might find some goodies in New York!

Well you know you there will a ton of goodies for this swap in New York, I'm completely jealous by the way. Vacation or business? Either way I would find it to be a vacation, we went when I was in 6th grade but we just drove through downtown (literally) my dad at the time was not into the big cities we saw lot of countryside.

I may wait to send this until I return from NYC. Took a quick peek at my local craft store on Friday for items and there was nothing!! The trip is vacation, my 7 year old has been wanting to go for ages! (I used to live there when I was first married.) We're going to the Whitney to check out the art-o-mat. All excited, haven't seen one of those in person!

I recieved the most fantastic package from sweden yesterday, it is packed full of art and a variety of artist. Thanks Elisabeth, I have enjoyed looking and already using the art goodies. Anyone get a package?

Hello everyone! Got a LOVELY package from Kiki. Funny thing is that I plant sunflowers every summer here in Sweden and never have any luck, but thanks to this swap and Kiki's fab efforts, I will have sunflowers this year, and irises, and starry nights. Thanks!
