Hi swappers! Let's follow another of Gi Kerr's tutorials, found HERE to create some sweet little dresses for our partners. You'll be creating 1 larger dress to serve as a tuck spot and 1 smaller dress with a paper clip attached. Gi states that we need only begin with a square of paper. In terms of size, let's begin with 6.5" square for the larger dress and a 4" square for the dress with the attached paper clip. If you're having a lot of trouble creating with the 4" square, simply create 2 larger pieces and attach a paper clip to one of those. Since these are based on origami designs, thinner paper would probably work better than thicker scrapbook paper. That said, there are thinner scrapbook papers and some of the designs would make beautiful dresses! Hope you'll join me in creating something to 'dress up' your partner's journal! |
