Remember those fun fortune tellers we used to make in school? Let's make some with a weird twist! Ittybittykitty suggested this swap based on a zine I sent to her by the lovely artist Rebecca Artemisa. I'll include some links to her amazing fortune teller zines below, and also some directions. For this swap you will create one paper fortune teller for your partner. It does not have to be profile based or personalized, but you might get some ideas that way to fill in your fortune teller spaces. It should be standard size, an 8.5 x 8.5 square. For all the triangles and squares you may draw or print whatever you like! Be creative! It can be based on a theme, a poem, numbers, actual fortunes you write for your partner, or just surreal random artsy images. It can be hand drawn or painted, printed, or made from cutout pictures or stickers. The only rules are that you do your best work and that it's folded into a fortune teller. Otherwise, it's sender's choice. For receivers, if you get a fortune teller in the mail, please rate a 5. Don't critique anyone's art by rating down. Design and materials of the fortune teller is sender's choice. Instructions and links are below. Let me know if you have any questions. Have fun!
