Description:

Australian artist Queenie Nakarra McKenzie typically used the natural earth pigments around her to create representative landscapes. She also used a series of dots in her works of art.

For this swap we will create a PC:

  • Using “Earth-tone” Colors & Dots (In my opinion earth-tone simply means colors one might see in the natural elements, however, this may be interpreted at artists discretion, of course!)
  • Minimum Size: 4x6” (10.16x15.24cm)
  • Maximum Size: 5x7” (12.7x17.78cm)
  • Mailed using a clear protective (removable) sleeve or envelope.

  • Please remember to include your user ID & this swap’s title.

Enjoy creating some light-hearted art!

Due to significant delay in mail services outside of North America, I am limited to regional swaps until further notice. If interested, please feel free to coordinate any of my swap ideas internationally!

I like these swaps for learning about artists' styles. Creating something similar is an intriguing artistic challenge. I don't often join but I do find each of your tribute swaps interesting to read, to consider, and to experiment with--sometimes without success, yet it's great to try new things. Thanks so much for coming up with these.

@9O96O Thank YOU for sharing your thoughts about the swap ideas! I too enjoy an artistic challenge! I also like to expose myself to new artists styles to see what others see! That was my hope for these tributes. 😉
