SSM: Celebrate Mer-May with Mail Art

Mermaids are such magical creatures and have inspired generations of humans to dream about the lives of mer-people. In May many creatives celebrate MerMay and I thought it would be fun to do a little MerMay art swap. There's lots of info and daily prompts on www.mermay.com if you want to delve into this fun challenge.

For this SWAP you will create a piece of mail art for your partner with the theme of Mermaids (or Mermen) and include 1 other flat item that is Mermaid or Ocean themed. This would include stickers, a postcard, journaling card, etc.

What you decide to create is sender's choice and can be any of the following (this list isn't exhaustive but does exclude inchies and twinchies) ATC (2.5" x 3.5"); handmade postcard (at least 4x6); skinny art card (3x5); an inkbox card; tags (1 large or 2 small); or a flip book.

Total creative license to the sender on how you incorporate Mermaids into your art. The only requirement is that you use stickers sparingly (i.e. only as a part of the design, not as the whole design) and put some thought and effort into what you send.

As always, please make sure to write your SB name and the name of the swap somewhere for your partner to see. This will allow for everyone to get rated!
