World Cardmaking Day

Every year, the first Saturday in October is World Cardmaking Day. To celebrate this year you will make and send one GENERIC greeting card to your partner.

Generic includes Thank you, thinking of you, get well, sympathy, encouragement or even just a beautiful card without a greeting or sentiment. Please NO religious, holiday or birthday unless you check with your partner first (I do not use these cards but many people do). Cards with a funny or punny sentiment are also ok. (Like the example above)

Your card must be well-made so straight edges, strong glue (which doesn’t show) and crisp stamping. It must include at least 2 layers and several embellishments. Stickers are allowed if they are the scrapbooking style ones, not teacher or child stickers.

Include an envelope. Plain or handmade is fine.
