That would be 80's bands swap... Hee Hee my type of music... I love the cure... Use to collect everything on them till they got to popular and just can't afford to collect it... Now I want to sell it.

The aim is more towards 'synth-pop' and less 'just 1980s' right? I want to make sure because even though I love 80s music I'm really hoping to share music with the 'synth-pop'/'post-punk' feel. :) Thank you for any clearing up you can lend! :)

Of course this is not an an 80s bands swap... Post-punk was actually a popular musical movement with its roots in the mid to late 1970s... This is from the all music guide: Post punk is a more adventurous and arty form of punk, no less angry or political but often more musically complex and diverse. Many of these groups — like Joy Division or the Cure — created dark, synthesizer-oriented soundscapes while others— like Orange Juice or XTC — had a lighter guitar-based musical approach but their lyrics and music were off-kilter and often subverted traditional pop/rock song structures. Post-punk eventually developed into alternative pop/rock in the '80s.

That is a great description of post-punk from AMG... I love Orange Juice. My swap partner is getting a rare b-side version of their song Poor Old Souls sung in French... This is a fun swap. I am happy to be part of it.
