You can start anytime.
If you're new to the Stamp & Pass swap create a new stamp & paste postcard for the round. If you've played before use the S&P postcard you received in the last round.
First Round
Cut postcard weight paper to postcard size Divide the PC into 4 equal sections. (You can divide it into 3 equal parts if you prefer.) Stamp your hand carved stamp in section 1. If you stamp on another piece of paper and glue the piece to your section, securely adhere your section to the postcard as the postcard may eventually be mailed naked. Turn the PC over, and address the postcard to yourself. Note: Do not include postage because the last person sending it home may not be from the same country as you! Divide the other half of the back of the postcard into separate writing areas and label them the same as you did on the front 1-4. If you stamped section 1 on the front side...then you will write in section 1 on the backside. This is where you leave a your username, and which Stamp & Pass you are doing (for example HCSI: Stamp & Pass Postcard #1), and anything else if there's room. Mail the postcard, in an envelope, to your partner.
Next Round
In the next round, use the postcard you have received from your partner in the last Stamp & Pass round. Stamp your hand carved stamp in one of the empty sections and then put it in an envelope and send that PC forward in the next round.
Finish
The goal is to have each space filled out by a different artist, and then sent Naked home to the originator. When you receive a postcard with only one empty square left, stamp it and mail it back naked or in a clear protective sleeve, to the original creator. Their name and mailing info should be on the card already. You will need to add the proper postage stamp. If you receive an unfinished Stamp & Pass Postcard please always send it on, even if you decide not to participate any longer. At the very least, send it back to the original creator. Or send it to me (P.O. Box 31013 Willowwest, Guelph, Ontario N1H 8K1 Canada) and I will forward it on. That way everyone should eventually get their postcard back. If you are assigned the creator as a partner, do not send them their uncompleted postcard. Start a new PC. If you get assigned a partner and they have already worked on that PC, then hold it and send it in the next round to a different partner or please send it to me. Send your partner a new PC. If the finished PC is particularly fragile, lumpy, or things not adhered well, or wet weather is an issue, go ahead and send in a sleeve or envelope, though naked is preferred. If anyone posts their finished PCs on social media (Flickr, Instagram, FB, YouTube, etc.), I would love a link to your post so I can see the results. If you will be sitting out more than a couple of rounds, and have unfinished PCs, please send them to me so that they will remain in circulation, (P.O.
