ETHP: Inkbox Cards—Embossing Glaze

With the release of 12 new embossing glaze colors, it seems fitting to post a swap utilizing this Tim Holtz product. Tim has his latest video up on YouTube with the new colors and lots of great techniques.

Create your card using embossing glaze in some form. Could be in the background, or used to color a diecut or embellishment, or added to texture paste swiped through a stencil. Feel free to add ephemera, clipping stickers, stamping, stencils, etc to give your card a Tim Holtz feel.

Inkbox cards measure 3x3 inches with rounded corners. Your cards should be constructed with a heavy-stock base. You can double up cardstock or attach to upcycled drygoods boxes.

Don’t forget to include your SwapBot username and the title of the swap. Feel free to include some details about your card—colors used, products, technique.


This is an international group, so try to keep your finished card flat enough to mail in a standard envelope without having to incur excessive postage charges.
