Using office labels, let's make some handmade stickers. I have several sizes, having worked as an administrative assistant for years :) Use what size you have. The video I had as a link sends you to a place that wants you to subscribe. I have a subscription but didn't realize you'd have to join, too, to see the video. I can't seem to find another one - if anyone does, please send me the link and I'll share it. What you do is pretty simple. Grab some of those nice stamps you have and stamp all over the labels. Background stamps are great - ones with "writing" on them, and numbers, too. How about a butterfly? You can glue pieces of vintage type of paper on it, too, and rip up some masking tape into small pieces to place around your labels. This would work best on larger labels that have space around each label. You can just use black ink, or throw in some colour, too. Watercolour paint would be great, too. You're basically making a masterboard. It's also similar to how you can make your own Washi tape (using stamps to make the designs). Send a full sheet to your partner; you might have to fold your sheet to mail it so you don't incur extra postage costs; a line of stickers may have to be sacrificed, if they're the very small ones (with 80 labels); not the ones with 30 on the sheet, and certainly not with 8. Your partner will understand if you have to do this. I've been wanting to try this for a couple of years; hope you have to! Edited Jan 13: |
