Found Image Postcard #7 – Toadstools - US

One ‘found image’ postcard to one Partner.

Simply find an image of a TOADSTOOL that you think your Partner will like and glue it to a backing to make it sturdy enough to mail. On the other side, put your Partner's send to address and a stamp on the right. On the left, put the name of the swap and your swap-bot user name. I also like to put a title, the source of the picture, and a short note on the back as well. Then drop it in the mail.

The postcard should be made of a single image, that you found in a book, magazine, brochure, etc. with no other embellishments. It is not a collage and no stickers, decorative tape, or artwork should be used.

It can be an image of a single toadstool or a group of them. They can be alive and growing, in a supermarket bin, or being served on a plate. The more odd and fun the image the better. I find the best sources for photos are books. I get damaged books from my library and other sources and give them another chance at life by reusing their photos.

Minimum rating to join is 4.8 but this swap is open to newbies.

I am calling this swap a type 3. There is a bit of work involved in the making of the postcard itself, but it can take a great deal of time selecting an appropriate picture.

An international version of this swap will be posted. If you live in the US, feel free to join both if you would like.

Thank you for considering my swap.
