My Collection of Creative Ideas Notebook

This is a bit of an unusual swap, so let me explain the concept: Have you ever had a great idea or thought that you wanted to explore further but forgot because you didn’t write it down? Or maybe you scribbled it on a random piece of paper that later got lost?

If you enjoy collecting ideas, brainstorming, and finding inspiration in everyday life, this swap is for you! Whether you love commonplace books, journaling, or just need a fresh spark of creativity, this swap will give you the chance to compile and share a collection of thoughts, keywords, and ideas.

The basic idea is:

Over the course of one month, you will fill an A6 or A7-sized notebook that has 12-24 pages (homemade or store-bought) with your creative ideas. Keep it lightweight (flat-style notebooks preferred) to make international shipping affordable. You can decorate the cover, but the contents should mostly be text.

The content is up to you! Some examples include:

Keywords & concepts to explore (sushi cats, rococo fashion, alien conspiracies)

Random creative ideas (make sock puppets, try a protein bread recipe, design a wooden hand-shaped chair)

To-do lists (take the cat to the dentist, buy milk and eggs, revise Italian grammar)

Interesting quotes or words that resonate with you

Lists of things that inspire you (books to read, places to visit, skills to learn)

Once the month is over, I will send out a reminder message, letting you know it’s time to send your swap. Keeping the original to yourself is advised, as you might want to revisit your ideas. You can either photo-copy or rewrite the contents in another notebook and send it out! You’ll have one week from that email to mail your notebook to your partner.

Important Notes:

This is an international swap, so please keep your notebook flat and lightweight to avoid high shipping costs.

If you encounter any issues or delays, please communicate with your partner before rating them down. Likewise, if you expect to send late, reach out to them in advance.

I will check all profiles before assigning partners, so please log into Swap-bot 1-2 days before the sign-up deadline to confirm you are an active participant.
