Read the recommended Bible passages and the thought-provoking blurb below. Send your partner a letter or notecard answering the questions at the end of this post. Don't forget to pray and invite the Lord into your study time. Bible passages to read and reflect on this week: Revelation chapter 3 (The Key Passage is Revelation 3:20) If you have Christ as your savior, you are never truly alone. On your darkest day and in your loneliest hour, He stands ready to eat with you. Why would He use these words? One might wonder if it's because eating a meal together is an intimate act. We typically eat our meals as a family or with close friends, not strangers. We talk as we eat. It's a time to slow down and spend time with loved ones. It's a shared experience. Even if there is no one else, there will always be Christ. He is your Savior and Redeemer, your friend, your Prince of Peace, and King of Glory. He is always there for you. You are never truly alone. Christ not only saves you, but He promises to be with you always, never leaving or forsaking you. He comes in and makes His home with you. You are His beloved, and He longs to fellowship with you. If you are a believer in Christ, are you ever truly alone? Why do you think Jesus refers to eating with the person who allows Him into his/her heart?
