CPG: Animal's Secret Diary Entry PC #1 - USA/CAN

Let's brighten up your partner's mailbox by sending a naked and stamped store-bought postcard (PC) featuring any animal on the front (no coloring postcards). Although this is sender's choice, please try to not pick an animal that your partner dislikes. The PC can be a photograph or artwork of the animal, anything goes, so long as an animal is featured.

On the back left of the PC, write a short diary entry from the animal's perspective about a completely mundane event.

Here are some examples to get your creative juices flowing:

• (A lion PC) Day 1,482. The sun is hot. I spent 4 hours planning a complex hunt, only to have a small, motorized box (a "safari truck") drive past and ruin the element of surprise. My nap has been delayed; the indignity is overwhelming. Must glare at nearest gazelle to feel better.

• (A dog PC) Day 736. The Great Food Dispenser remains unguarded. My humans left the house again and I am alone. The squeaky toy is my only solace. Must plan escape route for squirrel.

• (A cat PC) Day 958. The door to the sunbeam was left open for 15 seconds. An outrage. I spent the morning carefully batting a discarded piece of string under the refrigerator. The humans cannot comprehend my architectural genius. I will demand tuna at 5:00 p.m. SHARP.
