Fabric Bookmark Swap

This is a quick, easy, and fun swap!

You will send and receive 7 pretty bookmarks, perfect for all your summer reading.

~SPECIFICS~

• -You’ll make 7 bookmarks for one partner, following this tutorial: How About Orange Fabric Bookmarks

• -Use the prettiest fabric and ribbon you can find!

• -Each bookmark should measure 2” x 6” (5 cm x 15 cm)

• -Pack your envelopes into a pretty, durable envelope (make one yourself if you like!) and mail to your partner.

• -Since bookmarks are lightweight, this is an international swap.

• -Please look over your partner’s profile and select fabric/ribbon you think they’ll like.

• -This only takes a scrap of fabric, so use your prettiest, nicest scraps!

~EDIT---BOOKMARK TIPS~

• Make sure to put the glue on the cardstock, not the fabric.

• Let the glue dry completely before cutting and punching holes.

• 1/8" wide ribbon and rickrack works perfectly for this project.

• If you have a bone folder (for card-making) it works great for flattening the fabric.

• Cotton fabrics is best.
