G: Spooky Spots

For this swap, do some light research on spooky spots near where you live. (Wikipedia is fine - this isn't a school assignment!) These can be haunted location, creepy buildings or forests, ghost tours, ghost towns... If you've been there, all the better, please share your thoughts and experiences! If you haven't visited, look up a bit about the location and share with your partner. Typed or handwritten, either is fine. You can include photos or maps if you wish, but it's not required. If you haven't visited, would you like to? Do you plan to? Some things to consider including for your partner, if you can find them:

location - city/ state/ county/ country - whatever applies

brief history of the location - just a few sentences is fine

why is it haunted / spooky, etc? Is there a history or tales about the location?

I won't put a length requirement on the swap, but please take some time to send your partner something fun and enjoyable to read. If you know if the location has appeared on any TV shows or investigations, feel free to add some of that information as well.
