One partner USA only. Participants must have completed 3 swaps with no 1s or 3s. A snippet strip is a long, narrow, decorative element used in journals, scrapbooks, planners, and mixed-media art made in either paper or fabric. It typically looks like a long strip of layered collage accents. Your partner can "snip" off a small or large piece to add to their journal for decorations or belly bands. For this swap we'll make our snippet strips of paper to save on postage, but of course, you can add some lace, ribbon and lightweight embellishments if you wish. Make the base (backing) of your strip 18" long and 1" wide (2" wide if you're using lace, ribbon or fabric) to glue your elements onto. The backing can be made of paper, lace, ribbon or cardstock. The theme is the sender's choice. Have fun. | |
