this isnt proflie specific is it? that means i can go buy the stuff in advance and just send when partners are allocated???

It's not profile specific. I mean, I would read through your partner's profile AFTER partners are assigned to make sure there's nothing you bought that they dislike, are allergic to, etc. But sure...go ahead and buy it now. :)
