I love old recipes! The older-the better! Recipes from way back when women took pride in their culinary skills and everything was made with love no matter how long it took...and everything was made from scratch-no shortcuts here and there. For this swap you will have 2 partners. You will send by snail mail 2 recipes preferably handwritten on 4x6 cards (If you have hand issues, such as arthritis or neuropathy, go ahead an type them if that is easier). The recipes should be at least 50 years old or older. It can be a tried & true family recipe that's been passed down for generations or a recipe you stumbled across in a rummage sale or even a recipe from an old cookbook. If possible, put a date to the recipe. If you take it out of a cookbook, put the copyright date on there along with the name of the book (or include that info in a note if you wish). Open to newbies with well filled profile. No 1's. I will angel if necessary but will carefully screen all participants before assigning partners. Since this is not profile based, you can get started writing out your recipes now! |
