Description: | |
In this swap we will be making a hand embroidered fabric book. The book can be constructed in whichever way you like, as long as it has a minimum of six pages plus a front and back cover. You could use the Jane Davila tutorial, or simply make separate pages and bind them together like Kat Coyle did. Or, feel free to make up your own way of binding, as long as it's sturdy. The pages should be 2.5 x 3.5 inches (ATC size) or bigger. Other embellishments such as buttons, sequins, beads, etc. can be included, but please make sure that hand embroidery is the main focus of your work. It's fine to use your machine in the construction of the book, but not for the embroidery itself. Please list five different themes in the comments section to provide your partner with a little inspiration to get started. |
