The Lost Art of Letter Writing – a two part swap

April is National Card and Letter Writing Month.

Part 1: In preparation, we will make a card/letter writing kit for our partner. At a minimum, please include:

• A new box or package of cheery note cards (blank on inside)
• A pen
• A sheet of cheery stickers to decorate the envelopes

This swap is sender’s choice. Please give cards you think would brighten someone’s day if there were to receive one of them.

I’m not going to put a dollar limit on this. Please put together a nice package that you would like to receive.

Part 2: When you receive your kit, please send a thank you card to the person who sent you the kit, telling them a little about you, your day, etc. It can be either one of the cards you received or another card (store-bought, or even handmade). You should be able to get their address off the return label (Senders - please make sure you include a return address label on either the outside or inside of your package) Note: This part won’t be rated, but we’ll be doing it in honor of National Card and Letter Writing Month.

This swap is open to everyone who has a well filled-out profile. I will be checking these and reserve the right to ban anyone who looks like they might flake. Please play nice.
