EDIT I changed the partner to 1 and 1 Dresden plate. I was hoping with 4 everyone would be able to make a mini wall hanging, but people aren't joining and the watchers are dropping off like flies...LOL! Took that as a hint that maybe my parameters were a little too ambitious. :) I am really getting into the quilt patterns of yesteryear. This will be the first in a series of swaps for vintage geometric shape pieces. I'm so excited and I hope that you are too and will join! I am giving a generous amount of time to get it done, so it's not a rush, but really make sure you are committed. Especially, since this is an INTERNATIONAL swap. :) For this swap: *1 partners *1 Dresden plate and separate center circle (Just the Dresden plate and center circle. Do not applique to background for blocks) *Dresden plate should be minimum 6" across up to 12" (unless your partner and you agree on something else) *Sender's choice for fabric (but you can keep your partner's preference in mind if you wish) *Please use quality fabrics. It doesn't have to be quilt store expensive, just good quality. No cheap, loose weave, hard, dollar store fabric. *** I do require have a rating of 5.0 and at least 5 snail mail rated swaps under your belt. If it is down to 4.5, I ask that you PM me with details of what you are doing or have done to resolve the lower ratings. I will remove those who are between 4.5-4.9 who do not PM me. And if anyone notices a chronic flaker who has signed up, please PM me and NOT add it to the comments. I want to keep it civil and respectful as much as possible, so the excitement and fun momentum is not broken! :) *** Here is a link from YouTube on how to make an easy dresden plate with the dresden ruler. But you can also make a template as well. No need to go out and buy a fancy ruler if you don't want to.
