Description:

Here is a chance to clean out your stash of completed YOYO's that have not found their way onto a project.

You will have one partner and send that partner 20 completed YOYO's of 100% cotton fabric.

--any size YOYO's

--any color, print, plain (senders choice) YOYO's

--no more than 2 YOYO's alike

You may post below any comments regarding what kind of YOYO's you would especially like to get or any you would rather not receive, however it is ultimately senders choice because the purpose of the swap is to clear out your YOYO stash.

YOYO"s must be of good construction and unused.

Newbies welcome with a filled out profile, and a 5 rating with 3 snail mail swaps to your credit. Seasoned swappers must have a 4.8 rate with no "1's" in the last 6 months. I check profiles and contact every newbie before partners are assigned. PM me with questions.

Let the YOYO's roll!

I'd love anything but plaid please and thank you.

This sounds like a wonderful chance to finally try out the new Clover brand yo-yo templates which I got this year as Christmas and birthday gifts.

However, the swap coordinator might want to mention in the description (1) if the fabrics used should be washed prior to making the yo-yos, (2) what shape the yo-yos should be, since there are templates available for maying oval, heart, shamrock, and even flower shaped yo-yos, and (3) should the yo-yos be stuffed at all or left flat.

Hope everyone has fun! Karen aka CraftyTweetie :)

I think since it is a stash clear-out, all of those would be acceptable, even welcomed! Perhaps just let your partner know if the fabric has been washed or not, as a courtesy!

Could you please explain for those of us who are thinking of the stringed toy? I tried to google it and got nothing.

I love the input from everyone! Well, lets see if I can answer some issues addressed above. Since this is a "clear-out-your-stash" of YOYO's swap, any shape, size, color, recently washed, or made right off the fabric from the store, print, or plain YOYO's you have that you probably won't use, will be welcome. Please do not send used or dirty YOYO's. If you need to make up some YOYO's to add to the ones you found in your stash so that you meet the 20 YOYO requirement, that is fine too! If you make your YOYO's right off the fabric from the store before washing, it would be kind to let your partner know.

Another swapper and I recently did this as a private swap and I thought there might be others who would like to get a variety of YOYO's and at the same time clear out some they might not ever use themselves. I have one of the "flower shape" yoyo makers but don't have that many completed flower yoyo's in my stash that I want to get rid of, so most of the YOYO's I'll be sending will be various sizes of circles.
