In celebration of Litha, also known as Summer Solstice or Midsummer among other names, we will be creating a Ojo de Dios or God's Eye. How to Make a God's Eye This is just one site, there are numerous and even video tutorials on how to make a God's Eye. It's not difficult, my son in the 4th grade even made one recently in school.
I would suggest using sunny type colors in honor of the sun god for summer solstice, but this is sender's choice. Red, orange, yellow - all would be great. You can even decorate the ends with more yarn or feathers etc. EDIT: A few days were added for send-date. | |
