Sharing - Monthly Book Swap

During this year, I have sponsored book swaps revolving around a certain US Holiday or celebration month. August is dedicated to sharing!

In this swap we will send our partners TWO books! One based on their profile likes and one based on a book you'd like to share with your partner. Please send a brief explanation about your choices.

Alta is one of my all time favorite authors and since she published her own works, it is difficult to find her works. Please, feel free to choose a book you enjoyed and one you think your partner will, too. Be sure to check their profiles for some help. Any genre, any time period.

Nitty Gritty: USA only swap (All previous have been US and I will keep this swap the same - so postage should be nominal). No newbies and must have been rated for at least 10 package swaps. New and Gently Used books are appropriate and participants must have a rating of at least 4.9 with no 'no-sends' whatsoever.
