Description:

I joined a swap for a whimsey jar-fav color and got flaked - BY THE HOST!!!!!!!! She has since been partially suspended. Told me on 2 occasions she sent it and never did. Hence, this swap. (HOPE I GET ONE THIS TIME-NEVER HAD ONE BEFORE).

You will have 1 partner and you will decorate and fill an 8 ounce jar (plastic or glass) with craft supplies/related items. Must be new. Decorate it however you wish - sender's choice - BUT, to be safe, read your partner's profile so you don't offend them in anyway.

Rating of at least a 4.8, and no unexplainable 1s. If you have 3s, please PM me with an explanation. I reserve the right to ban.

PLEASE, NO FLAKERS! USA only due to postage costs.

I got flaked also on a whimsey jar swap so I am hesitant to join one with a jar this large.

I think that is so awful! I just made and sent my first one in good faith! I hope my partner follows through! I am in Canada, so I can not join this one. I hope that you all follow through on your swaps and are well rewarded for your efforts!

I never made a whimsey jar before. I've been wanting to make one. This is the perfect swap. Thanks Syn1226 for allowing me to join.
I can't wait to get started..I am going to NJ next week to visit my mom and grandma...They have the best craft stores there...

I've never made a Whimsy Jar before, so I'm excited to do this one!! And thank you @Syn1226 for putting the ounce size on the jar, not just "medium" or "small".. that's what probably stopped me from getting involved before!!

This sounds like a fun swap. I just did my first jar and I'm hoping that my partner doesn't flake. These swaps are more work than normal ones which makes it so much worse when people flake. I'm really looking forward to this swap and this type of jar seems right up my alley. Thanks!

I love these kind of swaps but just an FYI, they can get pretty pricey on sending. I just finished two swaps I started (sewing/scrapbooking and a embroidery) whimsey jar swaps and I received both of mine today and one was $9.30 and the other was $7.??. They are awsome things to make and receive but can be costly. My suggestion would be use a peanut butter plastic container much much much cheaper to send.Just an idea for everyone.

Are the plastic clear "paint craft cans" that are sold @ Michael's ok? They may be a bit larger then 8 oz...but are super cute :) Sounds like a super fun swap..I am just thrilled to get started.:)~

Just to clarify...all the items in the jar must be new. None can't be handmade??
