Do you have any tips about the use of herbs, natural remedies, old wives tales to share? They can be tried and true, or just plain looney (coming from moon madness by the way), from the past, from the present. Get them from the net, get them from your great granny ( did she plant parsley by the door to keep witches out?), listen to the whispers of your flowerbeds. And don't be shy, say where you found the information if you can remember. Just email one tip or fact,or more, to your 4 partners. Newbies welcome. Anyone who is let down, let me know and I will angel you. This is not just for humans but pets as well. An example is Chenopodium, commonly know as the Fathen weed ( found in most of the old English colonies), true to it's common name it does help hens put on weight and have a good egg producing rate. The high magnesium content of the leaves helps the immune system heightening resistance to worms. I learnt this at university doing a degree in agriculture in 1977 - ouch I am so old. |
