I am about to finish bookmarks for my brother on the theme winter, sping, summer and autumn since he´s going to get some books with the same theme and I though this might be a nice idea for a swap. So, pick out your scrapbookitems and start looking for ideas :) On the picture above all but winter are finished and I think they look pretty nice. So, in this swap you´ll make 12 (twelve) bookmarks, one for each month, and make them with something you think represents every particular month. Like January - New year, new ideas, July - lots of flowers blooming in your garden, September - time to pick those mushrooms. Since we come from different countries it is a good idea to write a little explanation to your partner about your choices, not every country celebrates Lucia and a girl with candles on her head might look peculiar with no explanation. The bookmarks must be handmade, sturdy and not too small or tiny. the ones I made for my brother is about 6 x 16 cm and it´s a pretty good size. It is a timeconsuming swap but bookmarks aren´t that heavy so shipping costs should be ok. I have used thick cerealboxes for the middle and covered the back too with a nice paper so you can´t really tell what it is. So, do you think it would be a fun idea? If you have 25 rated craftswaps on your record and some experience in papercrafts you are very welcome to join. Swappers with less than a 5.0 rating need to contact me prior to signing up. Long time between sign up and shipping so you don´t have to scrap all night two weeks in a row :). Please feel free to ask questions and happy swapping! |
