Description:

Ahhh. September. Time for school supplies again. Who can resist a fresh new box of crayons? But we're a tad old to sit down with a colouring book! Crayons are a perfectly good medium for adult artwork. Draw, shade, use as a resist, melt, whatever - but break out the Crayolas & let's see some creativity!

Your piece of artwork does not have to be exclusively crayon. Crayons must be one element, at least. Size must be at least 4x6 for flat artwork. No minimum size if making 3-D art of some kind.

This is meant to be adult artwork. Thus, please, no one-minute drawings of a house & stick figure. Put some time & effort into it - you want to make people re-evaluate their thoughts on crayons! Where else can you find 64 colours of an artistic medium for under $5?! I think that many of us are overlooking a fabulous art supply, that might well be sitting in our house idle.

In the spirit of "the more, the merrier", I will allow newbies to register, provided you have a well-filled-out profile. Anyone who is not under any type of suspension is also welcome to join. I will angel for anyone who fails to complete the swap - however, be assured that the appropriate rating will be given to you if you do.

To sum it up:

  • one partner
  • one piece of artwork, minimum size 4"x6" if flat (no size requirement for 3-D)
  • crayon must be used on the artwork
