Description: | |
As a participant of this swap, you will be attempting to shoot something that you consider to be representative of your country. This is an extremely pliable topic and I encourage you to find creative ways to meet the subject requirement. Keep in mind that your photograph doesn't have to be stereotypical. In fact, let's venture to say that stereotypical is boring. Let's move past stereotypical and into more personal territory. Your goal is to translate your country through your own eyes, not to get a canned shot comprised of someone else's idea. Both the size of your printed photograph and how you choose to present it should reflect your overall artistic concept. Accordingly, there are no technical requirements. That said, please do your best work. This swap is open to all skill levels. I also want to say that everyone's view of their country is their own and you don't necessarily have to agree with it. Please be aware that you may be the recipient of something that offends you. If this concerns you, you may want to sit this one out. Thank you! |
