Description:

I like keeping a journal but sometimes I just like to draw my feelings. So for this swap you will draw a doodle in each square for 28 days, from left to right. It can represent your feelings or just a 'feel-like-it' doodle. Try mixing up the times--a doodle as you wake up, a doodle after supper, or a doodle before bedtime, even a doodle after you read a good book!

You will start doodling on February 1st and finish February 28. After partners are assigned, you have five days to send your sheet.

Have fun!

I like this idea! I can't wait to get started with it! Plus, I think it'll be a good idea for keeping track of my moods for my therapy.

how great:-)

Oh this looks really awesome. I cant get the form though, it says I have to have a FB account and all this other crazy stuff. Can you send me an attachment ? sawyatt2@scatcat.fhsu.edu Thank you in advance :)

mb58ca 01/24/2011 #

@blockstar I emailed the attachment to you.

I was able to get the form without FB although it was confusing at first (i thought all those squares were some "you aren't allowed to see this file" marking, in part b/c of the red letters proclaiming "This is a private document").

One question I have: the squares are rather small! Is anybody else concerned about staying inside the lines (so to speak)? Maybe it would be a good exercise for me...

mb58ca 01/25/2011 #

@camelsamba Yes, they're small but it can still be done. Like you mentioned--it would be a good exercise for you...

Great swap idea! I hope you do more in more months to come.

My only question: do we have to doodle in order? Or can I pick a random square each day?

mb58ca 01/25/2011 #

@Emika Doodle your days in order.

blockstar 01/25/2011 #

Thank you for your email! The squares I got fill an entire page, make sure that they are the right ones, when I printed off from the website, it was only half a page...

Cheekycow 01/30/2011 #

Any reason the squares are 35, not 28? Are we supposed to send a little note with it telling our swap partner a little about ourselves? Sorry this is my first real swap, done 1 before on this site but it was electronic :)

mb58ca 01/31/2011 #

@Cheekycow It was a basic sheet to fill a page. I know there will be some left over. You're free to fill in the others. Just make sure at least 28 of them are filled in. Writing a note about yourself is fine but you don't have to. Remember to mention the swap and your username somewhere on the paper.

I started a Flickr group called StickerLady's Swap Spotlight to showcase the swap-sheet results of those of which I am hosting. I uploaded my first 'very basic' Doodle-a-Day #1 swap there. If you'd like to join, just pm me for an invite.
