Description:

I love inchies, and I love polymer clay, so why not combine the two? For this swap you will make "inchies", thin 1" squares made of polymer clay decorated in any way you'd like: embossing, painting, pearl-ex, marbling, skinner blends, mica shift, inclusions, canes, whatever you like to do with clay. The techniques are endless!

If you are unfamiliar with the techniques I'm mentioning, go to

http://www.polymerclaycentral.com/cyclopedia/contents.html

or to

http://www.glassattic.com/

You will have 2 partners, and make each of them 10 inchies. They can be as similar or different as you want to make them. Please package them well so they don't break in the mail.

This swap is international and open to swappers with a rating above 4.7, no recent no-sends. No newbies please.

I'd love to join as I love working with polymer clay. I'm still sort of new to Swapbot, but not a total newbie- I've participated in several swaps already. Can I join?

Here's a tip: A year and a half ago, I was making small p.c. tiles to make a mosaic. I was getting frustrated because I kept getting air bubbles. I then learned that if you flip the tiles upside down before you bake them, the air bubbles will rise to the exposed surface (which is the back of the tiles).
