This is number one in a series of page swaps I will be hosting with a Shabby Chic theme. When we finish, you should have enough pages to bind into a book. Of course, you are welcome to join at any time in the series! Each month, we will have a theme, and will make a page on that theme. For all pages in this series, please make the overall page size 4.5"x4", with the artwork portion being 4x4. The other 1/2" is for binding and should be left blank or just a base color, (this will be on the left hand side of the artwork). Use a sturdy thick paper base – watercolor paper is great - an inexpensive one of course. It will hold glue, paper, paints, water, & sturdy enough to easily support the embellishments used. Many Ideas include but not limited to - collage, assemblage, original artwork, create from the heart. Please ensure that there are some embellishments on the page which make it "chunky", not 2-D. The back of your page will be highly visible when the book is bound, so please make it neat and presentable. No need to actually decorate it, but if it's repurposed cereal box or something, then please cover it with a piece of decorative paper. The back should also bear the title of your piece (theme), and your swapbot name - real name is optional at your discretion - and the date. Feel welcome to add any other info you wish. Please - no computer printouts or stickers - this is a creative artistic endeavor... ---- have fun!!!! Future themes that I thought would be fun include Lace, Flowers, Music, Tag, Buttons, Ribbon etc, if you have any theme ideas or suggestions please let me know.. Create one 4.5"x4", with the artwork portion being 4x4 for one partner Theme --PINK-- |
