Number of people in swap:11
Location:International
Type:Type 3: Package or craft
Last day to signup/drop:March 29, 2011
Date items must be sent by:April 8, 2011
Number of swap partners:2
Description:

You won't be able to work on this one ahead of time because this one is a little different.

Once you know who your partners are, you will make an ATC based on their username. This will be easier for some than for others depending on what their username is. Are you up for the challenge?

You can incorporate part or all of their username. For example if thir username happens to be "QueenBee123" then you could do an ATC having to do with queens or bees or the numbers 123. Or you could have bees with crowns on their heads. Or numbers 123 with yellow and black stripes, etc.

You will have 2 partners and you will do one card for each partner. This is international so keep that in mind if you are going to join up.

Everyone is invited to join (yes, newbies too!) and I can angel this if need be.

Hope you have fun!

Added Info:

An ATC is short for Artists Trading Card. It is a card that is 2.5" x 3.5" in size (the size of a usual playing card). It is usually made of card stock and can be hand drawn, decorated and embellished in any way you like.

On the back of the card you should add the following: title of the card, your name, date created, how many in that series (for example if I were making 3 of them I would write 1 of 3 , 2 of 3 or 3 of 3) and the name of the swap that you are making it for.

An ATC is never sold, only traded. And if possible, you should send your ATC in a plastic trading card sleeve (found at hobby stores and some dollar stores too) to help protect the card.

I'd want to, but I have no experience with making ATCs. :/

@OreoWellington Try this site it outlines what ATC's are, how to make them, sizes, how to store them, and whatnot. They are very versatile and you can do pretty much anything as long as the art (hand drawn, collaging, painting etc..) fits in 2.5" by 3.5" criteria. You should give it a go or maybe make your own "Beginner's ATC" swap if you are too intimidated.

Sorry OreoWellington, I had forgot that not everyone knows how to make ATC's I have now added a little bit of information about it above in the description.

They are pretty simple.... it's hard to get them wrong. The only thing that really matters is the size. The rest is up to you! So don't be shy, just give it a try!

I am nervous and excited...wish my username was something different though...I can just see an ATC coming my way with a minivan ...LOL. BTW, I loathe mini-vans and do not drive one...LOL.

LOL...I will gladly take OreoWellington. How easy is that?

I am loving the usernames of the people who have joined so far! Lots of ideas are already coming to me.... this is going to be fun I think!

ATCs were mailed on time, but had no power due to a hail storm, so I didn't get to "click" when item was sent on time...LOL.

We got a hail storm too.... and a few minutes after it was all sunny out. Weird weather this time of year.
