Description:

The November/December 2009 edition of Somerset Studio had a great article from mixed media artist Kim Rae Nugent. (The swap pic is her work) When I saw the pic I knew it would be a great swap for our group! Each member should take a cookie cutter..old, new vintage..doesn't matter really. Inside you will create a mini -collage. I found it easiest to sit my cookie cutter down trace around the exterior onto a piece of thin cardboard, trim cardboard out and layer the collage on top. A bit of glue around the edges of the cookie cutter and the piece is almost complete. You should add a beaded, plain wire or ribbon hanger to finish the piece. If you punch 2 little holes in the cutter before you start the project it will insure no mishaps in the end. 1 partner....all group rules apply. I will check swappers before I assign partners. Pm Me for questions.

sorry..the swap pic isn't great and doesn't really show the "collage" portion of her work but this was the best pic I could get. I am sure you guys get the idea though :)

I've never done anything like this but it looks like a lot of fun! I even have a vintage cookie cutter all ready to work on It's kind of a weird shape but cute.
