Description:

For this swap you will create 1 ATC for 1 partner. Your ATC must feature a body part such as a hand, anatomical heart, skull, skeleton bones, eye, etc. You can choose to make them creepy or cute or a little bit of both.

All media types welcome. You must send a nice collaged, hand painted/drawn or mixed media piece. No sticker slapping, using magazine cut outs as your whole piece, oversized, undersized or generally sloppy ATC's. Take some time & make them nice.

Usual swap rules apply. This is a US only version. I will not host an International version, but you can if you like. I will ban as I feel necessary. No newbies. Usual group swap rules apply.

You say all media welcome, and then you say it must be collaged, drawn/painted or mixed media--but those aren't the only media possible, so which is it? Could someone do a sewn one, for instance? or crocheted? or metal? or printmaking?
Just curious, mine will probably be mixed media anyway.

I don't think she was saying it could only be collage,drawn/painted or mixed media; just that it shouldn't be sticker slapping. "Don't send crap" would probably be closer to the correct way of saying it.

In the arts, media or medium is any material used by an artist or designer to create a work...so yes, metal, yarn, fabric, etc. would fall into this category.

@ArtsOnFire is also correct...Don't send crap! LOL

I'm aware of what media means, (I did just graduate from art school! lol) but "mixed media" means it must include more than one medium, so by your wording a card that was only metal (etc.) would not qualify, it would have to be that and something else.

Basically I can see your intention, I'm just not sure your wording is accurately expressing your intention.
Not trying to be contrary here, just attempting to foster clarity. Love the swap idea!

I think DSC should become an atc standard... Sometimes I have to try really hard to come up with something nice to say about C Lets all start using that in our swaps and when someone asks as they will in the comment section... we can spell it out for more to learn.... eventually maybe it will become standard as the size of atc... even then I have had a few non standard sized come in... And i don't mean a tiny over lap of a hat or a millimeter off in width.. You all know what i mean. DSC BetsyLute aka user6456
