Hello! If you love to make ATCââ¬â¢s, or any other paper crafts that use small bits of paper, I have just the swap for you. For this swap you will send 1 partner 25 pieces of interesting paper cut to ATC size (2.5ââ¬Â x 3.5ââ¬Â) that could be used as backgrounds for an ATC. This is not a swap for ââ¬ÅATC blanksââ¬Â or the sturdy backs for ATCââ¬â¢s, but rather for interesting bits of paper that could be adhered to a sturdy back, and serve as the background. I am not sure if this swap has been done before (probably!), but if you have done this before and would like ââ¬Åcreditââ¬Â for the idea, please let me know! Examples of the types of papers that could be sent (this list is not all inclusive!) or places to get papers from: ââ¬Â¢Washi (rice) paper ââ¬Â¢Origami paper ââ¬Â¢Dictionary, Other Reference Books ââ¬Â¢Maps, Insides of Security Envelopes ââ¬Â¢Old Library or Bingo Cards, Old Ledgers ââ¬Â¢Stationary, Note Cards ââ¬Â¢Architectural drawings, blue prints, floor plans, etc. ââ¬Â¢Vintage Childrenââ¬â¢s Books ââ¬Â¢Other Old Books, letters, etc. ââ¬Â¢Papers written in another language ââ¬Â¢Patterned scrapbooking paper ââ¬Â¢Handmade paper ââ¬Â¢Sheet Music ââ¬Â¢Paper that has been sewn or embroidered by you ââ¬Â¢Paper that has been rubber stamped by you ââ¬Â¢Paper that has been heat embossed or dry embossed by you ââ¬Â¢Paper that has been decorated by you using any medium! Please DO NOT SEND: plain or solid colored cardstock, regular notebook paper, ads or newspaper clippings (unless they are in a different language, really old or somehow else interesting), and any paper that is in bad shape (i.e. badly wrinkled, torn, dirty, etc.) Also, please do not send digital images printed onto copy paper using an inkjet printer. Here are the requirements to give your partner a 5 rating: ââ¬Â¢25 DIFFERENT pieces of paper (all different ââ¬â no repeats) ââ¬Â¢Paper must be cut to 2.5ââ¬Â x 3.5ââ¬Â (please cut accurately) ââ¬Â¢No plain or solid paper (or anything else listed under DO NOT SEND) ââ¬Â¢Sent by the swap deadline This swap is SENDER'S CHOICE, although it is always nice to read your partners profile first. Please send your stack of papers in some type of plastic baggie or plastic wrap, to protect them from moisture/humidity. A note with the swap name and your user name makes rating easier too! This swap is open to all swappers with a rating of 4.9 or above (NEWBIES WELCOME!) ââ¬â no recent 1ââ¬â¢s or 3ââ¬â¢s. I will check profiles before assigning partners, and will angel if necessary. UPDATE: Due to the numerous requests received, there is now also an USA ONLY version of this swap as well. A note about me: This is my first swap that I am hosting, and am really excited about it! If there is something different that I could/should be doing, or some detail I have missed, please let me know. Happy Swapping! |
