I chose blue and green for this swap theme as no-one seems overly offended by these colours judging by their profiles. What is a Lucky Parcel Jo? I'm glad you asked - A Lucky parcel is a smallish, but very sweet parcel of small and cute goodies from one partner to another. The emphasis is on QUALITY and that the outside of the parcel looks just as wonderful as its contents. They are tied at the top and must have a nice tag with at least the swap name and your partners name written on it . How do I make a Lucky Parcel Jo? Simply get a nice box, container or bag - organza, cellophane, fabric (handmade is welcome) or paper bag and fill it with smallish swappy goodness for your partner in the Lucky Parcel Theme. So for this swap, EVERY ITEM must be coloured predominantly blue or green or both (on the outside of the item if it is wrapped) and the bag, bag tie and tag must also feature these colours. For this swap the minimum amount to send is 5 different goodies in your parcel. You are welcome to send more. Please be considerate though - 1 brad is not 1 item! A minimum of 5 brads is an item. Items are senders choice BUT YOU CANNOT SEND AN ITEM THAT IS ON YOUR PARTNERS DISLIKE LIST. For example - your partner has no mention of badges on her like or dislike list so a badge can be sent in the parcel to her but she does have lip balm on her dislike list therefore she cannot be sent lip balm. Some examples of things to fill the bag with are:
Quality handmade items are acceptable, and even encouraged, however, you do not NEED to include something handmade. There are lots of ideas on Flickr and google images if you want some inspiration. |
