About Me

I'm an infamous starter of projects but challenged in the finishing category. I love retro designs (especially www.annetaintor.com) and all things handmade. I like to be crafty when I have time and love to read. I like cooking but the desire to do it seems to come and go in waves. I also have a freakishly strong--if not consistent--desire to organize.

Favorite Music

I love music of all varieties but especially rock, pop, and R&B. My all time favorites are the Rolling Stones, Tom Petty, almost anything 80's, Seether and Staind. I also have a newly acquired taste for classical music.

Favorite Movies

I love 80's movies. Some of my favorite movies include: The Breakfast Club, Pump Up the Volume, The Jerk, Donnie Darko, The Wizard of Oz, Office Space, Natural Born Killers, The Princess Bride, What Dreams May Come, Clue, Edward Scissor Hands, Rebel Without a Cause, The Neverending Story, Serenity, The Secret of NIMH and Heathers. I could go on and on...

Favorite Television

My current favorites are Law & Order CI & SVU, Supernatural, Castle, Lie to Me, NCIS, Criminal Minds and Bones.

Favorite Crafts

I like all things crafty!! I have tried crochet, ATC and collage. I really just like trying a little of everything.

I enjoyed reading your introduction of yourself and it sounds like you and your daughter have a wonderful and fun relationship. Your job sounds very interesting, but I wish I could have heard a little bit more as well as about the class. When I still was able to work I was a workaholic and had to work on balancing work and the rest of my life. I look forward to adding to your journal and then passing it on to my next partner so you can get more entries, I really love this swap idea.

Hello :) Love your profile - have you seen Bluntcards? They are a lot like Anne Taintor, but a little nastier, lol. I am also a starter of projects - it's terrible! Part of why I joined Swap-Bot was to force myself to actually FINISH things. I thought maybe it would help start a new habit. Haha it's not working. And I also love 80's movies!!
