I am happily married to a most wonderful guy. We like to camp, travel, ride bikes, kayak, hike, dance, read, garden, build things and enjoy our families. I have two grown children and two grandchildren who I get to see often.
I am a recently retired school librarian which leads to the fact that I love to read and my taste in reading is widespread - fiction for all ages, biographies, history, philosophy, memoirs and classics.
I am a paper addict - I love paper of all weights, textures, colors and uses. I also have a vast collection of notebooks and journals - I try to avoid the Dollar bins at Michaels because I know there will be several journals there that I won't be able to resist cause they're so pretty or funky and they're only a dollar! I also love making books and boxes and origami. Stationery is another favorite thing of mine and I like to send and receive mail - which is why I am at Swap-bot. I am interested in trying other types of art media and have a collection of art journaling books that are inspiring me as I learn more about it. I enjoy quilting and have a fabulous collection of fabric. My latest passion is Zentangle - I became a Certified Zentangle Teacher in October of 2011 and currently teach classes several times a month. I could tangle all day if there weren't other things that needed to be done.

I am really getting into making ATCs and art journaling. I love making things with paper, fabric and beads. I do some sewing and quilting but usually on a small scale due to space limitations. I am open to new paper crafting and will probably try inchies and twinchies, dotees and paper fans in the near future. I love making cards and boxes - origami intrigues me, but I look for more practical things to fold like envelopes and boxes rather than animals.
I love getting mail and I love sending things to make my partners smile. I have collected a lot of stuff over the years and I am happy to share it (it is a slow declutter process), but if I notice that you like to do a craft that I have an abundance of supplies for, I will very likely include some with the swap item. I like to include a few extras and I hope it will make for a happy mail day.
I sincerely put a lot of effort in the things I send out and I hope that it is appreciated. If you don't receive a swap from me, please let me know, so that I can correct the problem. I do want to spread swapping happiness.

Happy (belated) birthday!
From all of us at "WIYM" group!
Thank you for the awesome sheets of nature stickers for the TNW Tag!!! They are fantastic, perfect for my project!!! :)
TPD RED Envie Swap Part 2: Your BEAUTIFULLY RED envie arrived today... and very much "on time"!!! :) I love the great flower and word collage you did, something I struggle with! Sounds as though we like many of the same things... I can hardly wait to try the Lemon bar recipe (lemon is a favorite, and I collect recipes also!). Paper is also a passion.... thanks for the goodies. However, photography is NOT one of my talents, the rose picture you sent is beautiful! I love roses, but unfortunately, so do the deer and I haven't been able to keep any here in the mountains! Thanks again for a great swap. Hope to swap with you again soon!
Happy Belated Birthday!
