Hi, I’m Cindy. I live in South Central Alabama. Far enough south for a day trip to the beach and far enough north to not have to evacuate in times of hurricanes. I enjoy sewing, (crafts, my skills are somewhat limited), cooking, walking, jigsaw puzzles, singing (church and community), day road trips with my husband of 45 years, and entertaining my grandchildren. I have four grown children and six grandchildren. Flowers are my joy. I wear them in my hair when it is long. I daily feed the birds in my yard and am always on the look out for rare and beautiful species. I enjoy reading trilogies and all books that are part of a series. I have no specific genre that I prefer over others, just whatever catches my fancy in the first two or three pages. I do not care for dark or macabre themes, goth or grunge. I am not a fan of politics or sports. My goal is to participate more and more in swap-bot and hopefully it will be my go to when I am blessed to be able to retire.

Things I do: I enjoy doing jigsaw puzzles. It’s something I have passed on to my kids. We swap puzzles, frame the ones we like. We find loads of puzzles at flea markets and antique malls. Which is another thing I do. My husband and I both share the joy of thrifting. I volunteer at various charitable and miscellaneous activities. I am old enough to have experience and young enough to still have the ‘lights’ on, which makes me a magnet for executive decisions. I enjoy menu planning and cooking. List making and journals. Last but not least, I play various instruments; flute, piano, organ, guitar, sing. My love of music truly runs deep.
