About Me
About me...hmmm where to start. Well I work and live in Boston. I love New England and could never live somewhere that didn't have four seasons. I work with local homeless women and other human service programs( like mentally ill and mentally disable). I spend any spare time with my pets (cat, dog, rat, turtle, rabbit and a bird) but my very needy dachshund takes up most of my time.

- Battle Royal and Ring series (I like Japanese authors).
- Neverending Story is by far my most favorite book of all time.

- Harry Potter Series
- Faerie themed books. Sadly, most of the ones I like are for children but :P
- Short stories, mythology, fairy tales and fables. I really prefer fables over anything else but I just enjoy anything that's whimsical and grim at the same time. The Redshoes is one of my favorites but I also enjoy Snow White, Sleeping Beauty and Rapunzel. I don't mind film adaptations of fairy tales but I prefer when they keep close to the original tale (no disney).Like faeries are often depicted as these innocent and helpful sprites when it truth they use to be feared.

- I'm a NON-smoker but I do own pets
- I reuse boxes and packages for shipping
- I'm not on-line everyday, I try and get to the computer every other day, so if I don't rate you or msg. you right away that would be why
- Please no food (only store bought packaged teas and candy)
- I'm not a super shrewd, I like the odd and weird and I'm not offended by language. But I don't like( or want) any realistic pictures depicting hurt/abused/starved animals. If for what ever reason something like this is sent to me, I might contact you first but most likely just give you a 3. I'm a very fair rater, don't get me wrong, I just can not tolerate animal abuse/neglect.
Crafts I make...
I do a lot of beading, jewelry work, painting/drawing and paper crafts. I LOVE origami but I've also gotten into ATCs and Inchies lately. I do sew but not much as I do all sewing by hand. Also I can crochet but I hate knitting. Though I know some, I would love to learn more Japanese crafts; like beading animals shapes, paper crafts and sm. plushies. If you know any good patterns please let me know :)
