AHA, I KNEW I recognized that FEELING from somewhere! I'm actually reading both the book and the comic right now, and I was thinking to myself "Hmm, she seems to like the same kinds of characters ... dark and world-weary private detective types" - no wonder, when it's the same author! I like both so far, by the way. Will let you know when I've finished them. Meanwhile, have you read the Blacksad comics? Also about a private investigator, although all the characters are animals. But it's wonderfully written and amazingly painted. You might like it, although it's not as dark as Crooked Little Vein seems to be.
I added you as an Officer! You don't have to do regular swaps but it helps me to have an international person (who I trust and is an amazing swapper!) in case I want to host a US version of something and you are able to do the international :) Or if you host Europe only swaps, etc.
