I'm a writer and a Chicago girl.
Huge football fan (Go Bears).
I'm a runner and a biker, and recently learned how to swim.
lately, i've been doing a lot of traveling. places I've been: Canada, UK, Ireland, Iceland, Norway, Sweden, Finland, Denmark, Belgium, The Netherlands, France, Germany, Italy, Turkey, Australia, Estonia, Morocco, Spain, Hong Kong, South Africa, Austria, Slovakia, Hungary. it's good for creativity. i'd love to hear about your travel experiences, domestic and foreign.
I'd love to receive recipes of your favorite smoothies and meals.
I absolutely love, love, LOVE fridge magnets and stationery.
I'm happy with all things literary (of course, right?) So, that includes books, random book pages, magazines, zines, motivational posters, comic strips, copy of an article you enjoyed, and although I'm not religious, perhaps there's a story/parable in your religious text that you'd like to share.
I like making journals and artist books. I also make necklaces and scarves. I've just learned how to knit as well, so stay tuned.
Other random favs: chamomile tea, anything with piggies on it, stationery, candles that smell like cookies, marbles, chapstick, city flag pins, swedish fish (who doesn't like swedish fish) mini notebooks
Catch 22, Beloved, Johnny Got His Gun, Huckleberry Finn, East of Eden, Lolita, The Count of Monte Cristo
Contemporary Fiction: Most any romance written by Judith McNaught or Bertrice Small. Gone Girl, Pillars of the Earth, The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo, Memoirs of a Geisha, The Hating Game.
There's nothing quite like getting lost in a good book.
Sometimes it's hard to figure out what to say in a letter or on a post card. Here's a couple things i love to read:
-that weird talent you have
-your favorite place to eat in your town and why
-a random secret
-a list of the places you've been
-best piece of advice you ever received
-your guilty pleasure
-tell me about your pets!
-if you could have one wish granted (sorry, just one) what would it be?
-tell me about your favorite book and why it's your favorite
-a random memory
-something that you miss
I only get involved in 4-6 swaps at a time. this way i'm never overwhelmed. so, have no fear, i'm not a flaker. If you haven't received something from me please message me before rating, I have absolutely no problem with resending.
I'm not picky. whatever you send will be great! i don't have any allergies. I'm alllllllll about being drama-free.
