I completely agree with you, they are so peaceful and calming to watch. I love getting to know the habits and behaviours of the birds that visit our feeders - they are all so different. I'm also learning to recognise birds from their calls and song. Quite hard, but really interesting! Good luck with your project to visit all of the Texas State Parks.
