I work outside the home. Have 3 daughters (2 of them teens.) I work in finance, but would rather craft. I love just about all types of creation. I was born and live in the United States. I love travel, but don't get to nearly often enough. I love Halloween and Christmas. Valentines Day is HIGHLY overrated and forced. (I am married, so it isn't because I don't have a sweetie. It's just so blah to me.) I am more into displaying my love and affection throughout the year. Mostly I love to craft and make cards. I LOVE making mini books. I am just starting to get into ART Journaling. And loving it.
I love to read. I will read almost any Vampire book. I love historical fiction. I spend way too much time and money on books. I read most of the books my daughters read. I like to be able to talk to them about what is going on in the books. It's a great insight to what makes my girls tick. And mostly the books are good.
While I am not anti-TV, I think it is watched WAY to often. There are a few shows I like to watch every week. I didn't have cable until I got married. Hubby has to have TV, so we have cable. That said, I do watch TV. I like NCIS LA, The Gates, Survivor, Big Bang Theory, SciFi Channel, Star Trek (any of them), Desperate Housewives, Brothers and Sisters, and now, Mike and Molly.
In no particular order, things I like: owls, turtles, chocolate, Halloween, Christmas, picnics, jewelry, inchies, ATC's, matchboxes, bookmarks, reading, vampires, werewolves, fairies, mermaids, green, orange, red, purple, sushi, Mexican things, beachy things, art journals, rubber stamps, making cards, taking pictures (but I'm really bad at it), notebooks, pens, miniature things, cooking, rain.
In no particular order, things I don't like: flakers, swaps that were thrown together with no thougt or time put into them, cleaning house (YUCK), graphic gross stuff, pastel colors. I really don't dislike much.
